About Us

So what is this "MFPA" group anyway?  We're the Parent Booster organization for the Montour Musical program at Montour High School.  Headed by four officers, otherwise known as the Board of Directors, the MFPA is comprised of the parents of the students in the  musical.

We're responsible for running the musical program each year, hiring the professional staff for the musical (director, choreographer, choral director, accompanist, orchestra director, set designer, lights and sound people, etc.), coordinating with the professional staff, as well as organizing various committees in support of all of the activities that must be done to put on a musical.  Among these are:  set building/props/stage crew, costumes, program book, ticket sales, fund raisers, lobby decorating, photography, publicity, etc.
