Stage Crew !

Dear Stage Crew Members,
Congratulations and welcome
to the 2007-2008 Montour High School Musical Production Team!
In the musical contract that
you have each signed, one of the commitments that you agreed to was to sell at
least $100 worth of ads for the musical’s program. Actually, we hope you’ll
sell a lot more than that - this is one of our biggest sources of income, second
only to ticket sales.
If you are a returning Cast
or Crew member, any ads that you sold last year will automatically be reserved
exclusively for you to sell again this year. But if you are new to the musical
this year, or sold no ads last year, unlike in past years, we will not have an
advertiser signup list – you are free to sell an ad to any business or friend or
family member – unless they are on the reserved list (through January 31st only).
We would like to ask all students for whom ads are being reserved, to contact
those businesses during January and early February. After January 31st, all businesses who have not
been contacted by a returning cast or crew member will be available for any
student to sell to.
Another one of our big
sellers are the One-Line Patron Ads. These are a great way for your friends and
relatives to wish you luck! There is a special order form for these.
Ad Turn-in.
Please turn in your ads as you sell them rather than waiting until the February
28, 2008 deadline. Place the money and ad order form in an envelope marked
“Musical Ads”, along with your name, homeroom and dollar amount. Ads should be
turned in at any rehearsal or at any MFPA Parent Meeting. PLEASE PAY BY
CHECK – NOT CASH.
Please remember we are here
to help you in any way we can. Program ad sales is a very big part of the
financial success of your production. If you have any questions or need
additional forms, please call or look for me or one of the other MFPA Board
members at a rehearsal.
If you need additional forms
for your ad sales, you will find a link at the end of this letter, and on the
forms page.
Good luck to all of you!
